Is this a complete food or does it need to be mixed with dry food?
Hill's Science Plan Adult Wet Dog Food with Turkey is a complete food, meaning it can be fed as the sole diet and provides everything an adult dog needs nutritionally without any additional food. However, it can also be used as part of a mixed feeding routine alongside Hill's Science Plan Adult dry food; the feeding guide above includes specific amounts for mixed feeding by body weight. Many owners use wet food as a complement to dry food to add variety and increase palatability.

How many cans does an adult dog need per day?
The daily amount depends on your dog's body weight and activity level. As a guide, a 10kg dog needs approximately 2 cans per day on sole feeding, while a 30kg dog needs around 4 and 1/3 cans. If mixing with dry food the amounts reduce considerably; a 30kg dog would have 2 cans plus 205g of dry food per day. Adjust the amount given to maintain your dog's ideal body condition, and consult your vet if you are unsure.

Can I mix this with Hill's Science Plan dry dog food?
Yes; Hill's specifically provides mixed feeding guidelines for combining this wet food with Hill's Science Plan Adult dry food. Mixing wet and dry food can help increase water intake, add variety to the diet and improve palatability for dogs that are fussy eaters. Use the mixed feeding guide above to ensure the total daily calorie intake remains appropriate for your dog's size.

No; Hill's Science Plan Adult Wet Dog Food with Turkey is made with natural ingredients and contains no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
