Johnsons Anti‑Mite Extra Bird Spray is a water‑based pump spray that helps control common external parasites affecting cage birds and pigeons including red mite, northern mite and lice. Formulated with permethrin, it provides lasting protection against re‑infestation when used as directed; this makes it a practical part of your bird health routine to manage and reduce parasite burdens in small avian companions. Simply spray the affected birds and their cage environment (avoiding eyes and beak) while removing food and water containers first to help ensure effectiveness and safety.

Suitable for:
Cage birds such as budgerigars, canaries, finches and pigeons that may be affected by mites, lice or similar external parasites.

Directions for use:
Shake well before use; remove food and water before spraying. Spray each bird lightly from the rear at a distance of about 30 cm (12″), avoiding eyes and beak. For small birds use 1–2 pumps, for larger birds 3–5 pumps; repeat weekly or as required until the infestation is cleared. To help prevent re‑infestation, also apply to cage surfaces and crevices where parasites can breed.

Important notes:
For external use only on birds; avoid spraying into eyes or onto broken skin. If signs of disease or heavy infestation persist, consult a veterinary surgeon. Not suitable for pigeons intended for human consumption.
