What makes the KONG Cat Teaser Loopz different from a regular wand toy?
The Teaser Loopz combines several play triggers in one toy. The chunky yarn loops are soft enough for a cat to grip and hold, which satisfies the capture instinct that a plain ribbon or string wand does not. The ball at the centre crackles when batted, adds visual shine and contains KONG North American Premium Catnip to keep interest high for longer.

Is this toy suitable for kittens as well as adult cats?
Yes, the Teaser Loopz works well for cats at any life stage. The soft yarn loops are gentle enough for kittens just learning to play, while the catnip and crackle ball give adult cats a stronger motivation to engage. Always supervise play regardless of age.

How should I store the KONG Cat Teaser Loopz when not in use?
Store it out of your cat's reach between sessions. Unsupervised access to wand toys with small parts such as feathers or yarn loops can be a safety risk. Keeping it put away also keeps the toy feeling fresh and exciting each time it comes out.

Does the catnip in the ball lose its effect over time?
Catnip potency does fade with extended use and exposure to air. If your cat starts showing less interest in the ball, you can refresh it by adding a small amount of loose catnip through the ball opening, or pick up a KONG Naturals Catnip Spray to reactivate the toy.
