Q: How deep should I bury the boundary wire?
A: The wire is rated for direct burial and is typically buried just below the surface, around 1 to 3 inches deep. Burying it slightly deeper in high traffic areas helps protect it from accidental damage.

Q: Do I need anything extra to join two spools of wire together?
A: Yes. A waterproof connection is essential when joining wire lengths. PetSafe recommend using their Splice Kits which include gel-filled capsules and wire connectors and are sold separately.

Q: How much area does each spool of wire cover?
